We fell in LOVE with Bear Inn the first time we rented it as a family!
We are Chad & Jenny! We love to adventure, whether it be on the beaches of St. John or in the Colorado Mountains. We like to go to the places that most people don't and trying things that push us outside of our comfort zone. We love our growing family and quality time with them!
Our family has vacationed in the Outer Banks of North Carolina since our kids were little, often visiting during May or September. We've spent many weeks in Corolla, Carova Beach, and even as far south as Frisco. Out of all the places we've stayed, our family always reminisced about our vacations at Bear Inn OBX the most.
We first rented Bear Inn in 2018. In 2021 we were looking to plan a family vacation to introduce our grandkids to the Outer Banks and be together with the entire family. We once again found ourselves renting Bear Inn OBX- it did not disappoint.
We rented kayaks for the week, spent our days on the beach, saw wild horses, ate meals together, and reconnected as a family. We left that week with a certain attachment to Bear Inn, even dreaming of owning it some day.
In 2022, we began looking for a place where our family could be together at the beach and to call our own. One day, while perusing through listings, a familiar home caught our attention- Bear Inn OBX was for sale! The rest, you could say, is history. We love Bear Inn and are happy we get to share it with you.
